Fe Dolor
Since 2004, Fe Dolor has been teaching Pilates in studios, corporate fitness centers, and community colleges in the Portland metro area. She left Portland a little over 2 years ago to teach in Latin America and Southeast Asia.
She has an evolved approach to Pilates instruction that goes beyond a list followed through in a specific order. By focusing on the goals of her clients and taking into account the uniqueness of everyone's bodies, she is able to find creative solutions to meet everyone's needs. As someone that has struggled with scoliosis, she is a testament to the power and effectiveness of Pilates.
Aside from Pilates, she also does running, cycling, hiking, yoga, and volunteer work.
Pamela Orser
Pamela has lived in Sellwood for over 20 years with her husband and their two daughters. In her words, “I am a Fitness Trainer who believes that we all need a fitness regime that we can adhere to for a lifetime; because that is what we have, a lifetime to remain functional and happy. During junior college I taught aerobics classes and decided to turn fitness into a career decision.
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Fitness Management degree. I have since been a Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor; teaching classes that include Fit Camp Portland, Indoor Cycling, The Lift, X-Training and SeniorSneakers, to name a few. I have developed a circuit type workout called “F.I.T” (Functional Interval Training) that includes multi-joint movement as well as balance and cardio for the busy, focused individual that likes to get the most out of the minutes invested in their workout.
Over the years I’ve enjoyed running a few marathons, the Hood to Coast, Portland to Coast, Dragon Boat races, and even a snow shoe race. I love hiking with my family as well as putting on a wets suit and getting on a boogie board at the coast. My philosophy is that one should be fit enough to pursue any activity that one wishes; to be able to peruse desired activities with confidence, and to have a little extra physical strength, balance and endurance for insurance.”
